BD® Spectrum Viewer
The BD® Spectrum Viewer is an interactive tool that supports optimized fluorochrome selection, choosing filters and assessing potential spillover when designing flow cytometry panels. The latest and improved version of the tool offers several additional features: ability to view and compare excitation (Ex) and emission (Em) spectra with a broad and growing library of dyes and probes;1 an extensive collection of pre-loaded cytometer configurations;2 a stacked laser view and the ability to save and share your work; and the ability to visualize and analyze fluorochrome emission profiles on spectral flow cytometers3 with a new heat map option to more easily assess areas of overlapping emission. Explore the new BD® Spectrum Viewer below or access the legacy BD® Spectrum Viewer.

BD® Research Cloud
Use BD RC to go beyond the fluorochrome spectra and into panel design. The predefined Reagent Selector workflow guides you through the panel design process and provides a customized experience by filtering reagent choices according to your instrument configuration and reagent availability so that you only build a panel that is compatible with your instrument and available for ordering. Create your own custom panels or use one of our pre-optimized multicolor flow cytometry panels. Share the panel with collaborators and save time on the cytometer by translating your panel into a BD FACSDiva™ Software experiment directly in BD RC. Sign up for a free account, configure your cytometer and start designing your panel today at bdresearchcloud.com

1Fluorochrome excitation and emission data were generated on a spectrophotometer and spectrofluorometer, respectively. Data for immunofluorescence fluorochromes were collected using conjugated antibodies.
2Collection of pre-loaded configurations includes the following flow cytometers: BD Accuri™, BD FACSAria™ Fusion, BD FACSAria™ III, BD FACSCalibur™, BD FACSCelesta™, BD FACSJazz™, BD FACSLyric™, BD FACSMelody™, BD FACSVerse™, BD FACSymphony™ A1, BD FACSymphony™ A3, BD FACSymphony™ A5, BD FACSymphony™ A5 SE, BD FACSymphony™ S6, BD® LSR II, BD LSRFortessa™, BD LSRFortessa™ X-20.
3Fluorochrome spectral signatures were generated on the respective instrument platform using recommended set-up protocols. Spectral signatures are dependent on the cytometer configuration and settings used, and, as a result, results on individual instruments may differ from what is depicted herein.
