For Professionals in Research
Overview
BD® Small Batch Reagents are preformulated, ready-to-use and leverage BD Horizon™ Dri Technology, which reduces variability and eliminates manual pipetting. Our performance-optimized multicolor panels demonstrate consistent use in a variety of research trials and applications. BD® Small Batch Reagents are backed by innovation, based on consensus guidelines, informed by customer voice and collaborations, and supported by high-impact publications.
The reagents include BD Horizon™ Dri Panels and Reagents:
- TBNK + CD20 Panel
- Monoset panel
- Memory T-cell panel
- Treg panel
- Tumor and tissue dissociation reagent (TTDR)
The BD Horizon™ Dri TBNK + CD20 Multicolor Panel is optimized for immune monitoring research
The panel was designed for clinical research based on key feedback from Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The addition of CD20 to standard TBNK analysis expands the utility of a very common test. This tube has been used in research and clinical trials, from monitoring immune responses to CD20 depletion therapies.
The panel:
- Characterizes T, B and NK cells
- Provides absolute counts when paired with BD Trucount™ Tubes
- Offers standardization with the all-in-one dried format, reducing variability
- Eliminates manual pipetting, increasing efficiency
- Is flexible with open channels for liquid drop-ins

The BD Horizon™ Dri Monoset Panel is optimized for immunotherapy research and clinical research trials
The panel was designed based on published consensus guidelines to identify and characterize classical, intermediate and nonclassical subsets of monocytes in humans. These levels are quantitated both by absolute number and frequency of each subset. This quantitative value-add is key as it enables standardization of your data across multiple studies. Applications for this tube in research and clinical research trials include but are not limited to cardiology, sepsis, atherosclerosis and as predictive biomarkers for immuno-oncology.
The panel:
- Provides standardized quantification (via ABC* units) when paired with BD Quantibrite™ Beads
- Offers an analysis template with gating strategy for BD FACSuite™ Research Application
- Reduces variability with the all-in-one dried format and offers standardization
- Eliminates manual pipetting, increasing efficiency
- Is flexible with open channels for liquid drop-ins

The BD Horizon™ Memory T-Cell Panel is optimized for cell therapy research and immune system research
This 7-color panel is performance-optimized for use in clinical research and cell therapy applications. The tube contains a dried, pre-aliquoted multicolor cocktail comprising markers that are well-established and widely used for the characterization of CD4 and CD8 naïve and memory T-cell subsets. The identification and characterization of these T-cell subsets are critical in a variety of clinical research applications, including immunity studies, vaccine research and various T-cell therapies.
The panel:
- Characterizes naïve, effector, central and stem cell memory T-cell subsets
- Offers an analysis template with gating strategy for BD FACSuite™ Research Application
- Reduces variability with the all-in-one dried format and is standardized
- Eliminates manual pipetting, increasing efficiency
