Nature Masterclass 2023
Who is it for? The Nature Masterclasses virtual workshop in scientific writing and publishing is designed for busy, early- to mid-career researchers in the natural sciences.
What can you expect? A combination of interactive group webinars, pre-workshop activities and an individual Abstract Review, presented by two journal editors from Nature Research. Here’s your chance to have a unique opportunity to discuss your scientific writing with an editor and discover ways to communicate your research more effectively.
Pre-requisite: Have a ready abstract or one that you’ve been working on to put to the table for discussions.

Meet your Editors
Ildiko Gyory
Senior Editor, Nature Communications
Ildiko joined Nature Communications in August 2020 covering immunology, clinical immunology, and cancer immunity. She has a degree in Medicine from the Semmelweis Medical University of Budapest. After getting her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of South Florida, she carried out postdoctoral work at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, and was a lecturer at the University of Leicester.
Ming Yang
Associate Editor, Nature Medicine
Ming completed his degree in Physiology at King’s College London, and Master’s degree in Pharmacology at University of Bristol. He obtained his PhD and Postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge. During his PhD, he did a secondment at Science magazine and Science Translational Medicine. Ming was an editor in BMC Medicine in 2020 before joining Nature Medicine in March 2022, in the areas of non-communicable diseases and public health.
