This course will introduce you to the worksheets window in BD FACSDiva™ Software. By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Identify the different plots and gates used in the software.
Describe the difference between the population hierarchy and statistics views.
BD FACSDiva™ Software Data Display Overview
This course will introduce you to how a cell’s properties are displayed in BD FACSDiva™ Software using different plots and scaling. By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Identify populations in dot and histogram plots based on the cell’s scatter and fluorescence properties.
Describe the difference between linear, log and biexponential display.
BD FACSDiva™ Software Templates Overview
This course will introduce you to how to create and manage templates in BD FACSDiva™ Software. By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Describe and use different template types available in the software.

These courses are delivered in small class sizes with a 2-to-1 ratio of learners-to-instrument to provide plenty of hands-on time and opportunity to get comfortable with the operation of the software and cytometer.
BD FACSCanto™ II and BD FACSCanto™ 10-Color Research Operator Training Courses
This course provides you with the practical knowledge and skills to acquire and analyze multicolor data and perform maintenance tasks.
In this class, you will learn:
General principles of flow cytometry
Cytometer operation and troubleshooting common hardware and software issues
Cytometer QC using the BD® Cytometer Setup and Tracking (CS&T) Application
Compensation, data acquisition and analysis using a research-based workflow, and data management using BD FACSDiva™ Software
If applicable, data acquisition using the BD FACS™ Loader option
Intended Audience: New operators or operators who have not had formal training on this cytometer. This course can be taken in conjunction with the BD® HTS training course.
Prerequisites: None
BD FACSCanto™ II and BD FACSCanto™ 10-Color Clinical Operator Training Courses
