Overview
Flow cytometry is widely used for disease-specific assessments and immunophenotyping of immune cell populations. This evaluation helps in diagnosis of immune deficiencies. Determining lymphocyte subsets can generate more insights of the immune system than a complete blood count (CBC).
BD Multitest™ 6-Color TBNK reagent with optional BD Trucount™ Tubes is a six-color direct immunofluorescence reagent for use in identifying and determining the percentages and absolute counts of T, B, and natural killer (NK) cells, as well as the CD4+ and CD8+ subpopulations of T cells, in peripheral blood on a BD flow cytometer.

The BD Multitest™ 6-Color TBNK Kit Simplifies Your Workflow and Increases Productivity
- An easy-to-use Solution
With its single-tube format, the BD Multitest™ 6-Color TBNK reagent decreases cost by reducing the number of tubes and sample processing time. The reagent includes a cocktail of multiple fluorescently labeled monoclonal antibodies, premixed at the appropriate titer to ensure quality staining.
- Accurate cell counts with BD Trucount™ Tubes
BD Trucount™ Tubes help to ensure more accurate cell counts - requires no additional pipetting steps, precise and reproducible. The tubes contain a lyophilized pellet of fluorescent beads that serves as an internal standard. BD FACSuite™ Clinical Application automatically calculates lymphocyte absolute counts and subset percentages.

The BD Multitest™ 6-Color TBNK reagent employs a no-wash formula that reduces tube handling. Processing fewer tubes in less time may decrease potential exposure to biohazardous material, improving safety for laboratory personnel.
