50 years of enabling deeper immunology insights
Join us in Booth #732 on a journey through the last five decades of biosciences innovation. Capture the moment with your very own Polaroid “selfie” — just like researchers used to have to use to publish their histograms — take a step back in time to check out an early flow cytometer, the BD® FACS 440 and walk the path of immunology discovery through to new cell types, fluorophores, bigger, cleaner panels and the explosion of discovery enabled by present-day spectral flow cytometry and single-cell multiomics.
Ask our team about:
Minimizing cross-laser excitation on the blue and yellow-green lasers using new dye pairs
Deriving greater insights and unlocking new discoveries with the BD FACSDiscover™ S8 Cell Sorter, the first real-time imaging, spectral flow cytometer
Accelerating time to insight with our complete portfolio of single-cell multiomics solutions featuring newly launched products for epigenomics studies and advanced immune profiling:
Revealing insights from your data with the leading analysis software, FlowJo™ Software
Transforming your experiments with the ecosystem for all things flow, BD® Research Cloud
BD Biosciences is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of IMMUNOLOGY2024™ in association with the American Association of Immunologists.

The power of choice: improving resolution and unveiling biology with spectral flow cytometry
Understanding biology with flow cytometry relies on antibody conjugates and distinguishable fluorescent agents combined into panels built to reveal expression levels of a varied set of receptors on suspended cells. Advancements in flow cytometry increased the number of possibilities of antibody conjugates to be used simultaneously in a panel. In this talk, as BD celebrates 50 years of innovation in flow cytometry, we'll share our learnings through a candid discussion on the impacts in biological resolution when making decisions around panel design and experimental conditions.
